Thalapathy moved on to his next flick, Bigil, which is directed by Atlee.At the audio launch of Bigil, which was held on September 20, director Atlee revealed that the trailer will release in the first week of October. According to rumours, the trailer of Bigil was supposed to release on Gandhi Jayanthi, which falls on October 2. However, the trailer release has been delayed, which left the fans disappointed.In a recent interview to Tamil magazine Vikatan, producer Archana Kalpathi has opened up about the delay behind the trailer release. She said, “A production house alone does not have the rights to give an update. It all lies in the hands of the direction team. When they say that the product is ready, then we will be able to give an update. I understand that people are curious to see the film. But, it’s not right to pressurise the direction team.”According to the latest reports, an update regarding Atlee’s Bigil will be made on October 7. Reportedly, Atlee and his team are busy with the film’s post-production as they have planned to send the film to the censor board in the second week of October.Archana Kalpathi also revealed that the budget of Bigil stands at Rs 180 crore, which is a staggering amount for a commercial film. The police arrested the women as well as two other suspects and will produce them in court today. (Colombo Gazette) The police raided a brothel operating in Warakapola and arrested eight people, the police media unit said today.The police said that the brothel had been operating in Ambepussa, along the Kandy road. A police team had raided the premises last evening and found 6 women who were involved in prostitution.The police said that the women were residents of Matara, Kandy, Beligala and Ganewalpola.
