Happy Independence Day: Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma lead wishes from India cricket team

BCCI captioned the video, “#TeamIndia wishes everyone a very Happy Independence Day. Jai Hind #IndependenceDay”.India skipper Virat Kohli termed the Independence day as ,”the most iconic day in the history of our country” whereas Kedar Jadhav wished the Indian fans in Marathi language. The 1st ODI of the ongoing series was abandoned due to rain after just 13 overs of action in Guyana but India were able to take an unbeatable 1-0 lead in the series after winning the 2nd ODI that also had rain interruptions.Virat Kohli’s men had registered a 59-run win (DLS method) in the 2nd ODI at the Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain on Sunday.Earlier, Men in blue had clinched the three-match T20I series against West Indies 3-0.
