The Galaxy M10, Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M30 have offered great displays combined with dependable hardware at affordable prices. The Galaxy M40 looks to follow suit but there are a few things to keep in mind.Firstly, the Galaxy M40 comes with an LCD display rather than an AMOLED display as seen on the Galaxy M30 and Galaxy A50. The other point to note is that the Galaxy M40 does not come with a headphone jack. However, Samsung is providing a pair of Type-C earphones with the box.The 32MP triple camera setup is definitely an upgrade over the Galaxy M30 and Galaxy A50, at least on paper, but the battery capacity has been downgraded to 3,500mAh. To recall, the Galaxy M30 offers a 5,000mAh capacity, while the Galaxy A50 offers a 4,000mAh battery. As mentioned above, the Galaxy M40 is the first Galaxy M phones to ship with a Snapdragon chipset. The Snapdragon 675 is a capable mid-range processor that should deliver a fast and snappy experience for most day-to-day tasks. We will be out with our full review of the Galaxy M40 soon to offer a verdict on the performance.ALSO READ | Samsung Galaxy M40 quick review: A solid addition to the Galaxy M seriesALSO READ | Samsung Galaxy M40 launched: Key specs, features, price in India and availabilitylast_img
