first_imgJob DescriptionThe Project Associate position will provide subject matterexpertise in the areas of psychiatric diagnostic assessment, crisismanagement, empirically supported psychotherapy, and teamsupervision. Primary responsibilities include psychiatricassessment and structured diagnostic interviews, tracking raterreliability, treatment fidelity and adherence, participantrecruitment and oversight research compliance (including IRBprotocols), forming liaisons with clinical professionals, andmaintaining the integrity of participant databases. Oversees ajunior clinical team including training and supervising juniorstaff in all aspects of the clinical research process (e.g.,assessment administration, basic clinical research design,participant recruitment, assessment and retention, and clinicaldata reduction and analysis). The successful team member will beskilled with monitoring and adjusting priorities, problem solving,and generally ensuring the day today implementation of the clinicalresearch programs. The Clinical Coordinator/Associate is anessential member of the research team and will be expected toregularly interact with research collaborators, hospital andcommunity clinicians, and research administrators on behalf of theprincipal investigators. Participates in manuscript and/or grantpreparation.Required QualificationsMaster’s degree in psychology, health sciences, social sciences,public health, or related field. Previous health behavior trainingand experience working with research participants to promotebehavior change, Experience working with diverse researchparticipants and/or patients. Experience working collaboratively ina diverse team setting. Excellent interpersonal, critical thinking,organizational, time management, attention to detail andcommunication skills|Display the ability to make decisions andcomplete tasks independently.Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience delivering interventions in a research orclinical setting. Knowledge of Federal and state regulations andethical guidelines related to human subjects research in abiomedical setting.
